Support Crowd-Funded Open-Source Grails Note Taking App Akanoo

Akanoo will be a Grails-driven, visually appealing, easy-to-use open-source note taking app for web and mobile. It allows you to create, arrange and group notes on a canvas - just as you're used to from your sticky notes on your white board. Notes can be securely stored and are shared easily - with collaborative live editing as we know it from Google Docs.

Well, right now it's just a project, but with your support, its creator Fabian Gebert will make it happen.

Created in Grails 2.0, Atmosphere, jQuery and providing scalability through load-balancing and message queuing, it will certainly help the community since it will be published as a well-documented open-source project. And if makes sense, parts of it will be published as Grails plugins.

If you want to support Fabian - co-founder of Mediabird Study Notes - to create this app, support him at Akanoo on Indiegogo. Watch his pitch on YouTube or go to the project home.
