Grails 2.3.0 RC1 and Grails 2.2.4 Released!

The Grails team are pleased to announce the release of Grails 2.3 RC1 and Grails 2.2.4!

Grails 2.3 RC1 is the first release candidate of the next major version of the Grails framework. Grails 2.3 includes significant new features including:

  • Dependency Resolution with Aether
  • Complete REST support
  • Improved Data Binding
  • Forked Execution of the Build
  • Async Programming APIs
  • XSS Prevention
  • Hibernate 4 Support

For the early adopters, any feedback from testing the release candidate should be reported to JIRA (please not in the comments!). Also, please review the "Upgrade Guide" if you plan to upgrade and existing application.

Grails 2.2.4 includes bug fixes and improvements to the 2.2.x line of releases.
